CAF Calls for Artists - July

Hello Artist Community,

We have another exciting opportunity for you in July.

“What the Dickens” Artists have eyes to see the hidden or untalked about things in society.  Charles Dickens in his century used his art to entertain the world with memorable characters and stories drawn from his observations of humanity.  He also addressed social issues of all kinds in ways that opened people’s eyes, and he included all levels of society – something that had not been done before.  We challenge artists to use their own style to reflect 1) the memorable characters and stories in their life, 2) to highlight current social issues and 3) to speak about the diverse levels of our society.  Please see the attached call to artists for all the details.

Also, please don’t forget about “Ginormous” An exhibit of large works.  All works must be vertically oriented and measure 4 feet wide and anywhere from 6’ to 10 feet tall.  I will only be accepting 12 pieces, so artists will need to submit electronically.  Please note as long as the piece is one continuous work, you can use two canvases to create the hieght.  Electronic Submission Deadline: July 1, 2014 (artists are welcome to submit more than one piece)

Please email leena@dadorlando.com for all the details and submission forms.  This should be very exciting!
